Gai Jatra is also one of the festival. Mainly the newar will celebrate this festival. during this festival is celebrated in the month of Bhadra.  As we know that the gai means  cow. the festival of cows is one of the most popular festival of nepal.

about gaijatraको लागि तस्बिर परिणामThe festival is observed by hindus. and the meaning of "gai is cow or laxmi" and the meaning of" jatra is festival".  this festival is very famous festival in nepal. In ancient period of time. people anxiety and  worship yamraj is "the god of death". This Festival is ruled by malla King.

At last,I want to say that  it is very famous festival.  and we know that gai means the Domestic animal. newar will celebrate this festival  and they worship and they will do puja of gai.
